Excellent show but "John" has to drop 20 pounds
The RAIN! show with Lionel Richie was, as always, excellent. They performed a handful of songs that were previously unheard by me (Fixing A Hole, Within You, Without You, Good Morning, etc.). The guy portraying John Lennon needs to shed some pounds. His waist was bulging out of his Sgt Pepper jacket, making him seem out of place among the other performers who are managing their weight well. I don't mean to single him out, but it's clear. During the latter part of the show, when he emerged in John's white jacket, he sported a wig that seemed like it was retrieved from under the spare tire in his car's trunk. It was quite unflattering - almost humorous. He resembled Neil Young more than John Lennon. Overall, a fantastic show even with a rather hefty Lennon.
